Today he mentors established founders through ATL Mentorship using the Four Pillars methodology, and is the author of Above The Line.

Steve Matthews MBA is a British founder, mentor and author who has built, failed, rebuilt and exited businesses across more than twenty-five years in small business. After an Armed Forces background and an MBA, he founded his first company in 2005, lost it publicly in the financial crisis, and rebuilt from nothing — scaling a seven-figure operation to forty-plus staff across the UK and Ireland before exiting in 2016. He now runs ATL Mentorship, an elite 1-to-1 mentoring practice for established UK founders ready to break through the next ceiling, and is the founder of Zenith, a sales-automation venture for UK micro and small businesses. His book, Above The Line, distils the Four Pillars framework he wishes he had had the first time. Steve speaks on founder leverage, leadership, and the structural decisions that quietly make or break a small business.
